Learning is woven through Anthropos as carefully as music, art and food. We believe that the chance to learn and grow as humans. alongside one another, from one another. is part of what a festival can be, not something separate from it.
Across the site you'll find teaching and practice in many forms: lectures from scientists, elders and practitioners; hands-on workshops in ecology and permaculture; creative crafts and instrument exploration; healing practices from bodywork to meditation; and the informal learning that happens around the fire at three in the morning when a conversation opens up and doesn't close until dawn.
Joining us in the field is an invitation to all of this. Bring curiosity, bring what you know, bring what you're still puzzling over. Teach if you have something to share, learn if you're new to a topic, and expect that the line between teacher and student will blur the longer you stay.
Opportunities to learn and grow as humans permeate the festival and are fundamental to the Anthropos ethos. Joining us in the field will be a plethora of incredible minds and inspiring wise souls who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and wisdom. You will find a great variety of scheduled activities ranging from talks on science and anthropology to dance and circus workshops. Alongside these, meditation sessions and body work such as yoga and qigong will encourage reconnection with the self and the growth of self-knowledge.
