The Anthropos Woodland sits just outside Bishop's Stortford in Hertfordshire. Less than an hour from central London, forty minutes from King's Cross, and well-connected to the rest of the country by train, road and plane. Pick whichever way suits you best.
Bishop's Stortford is the closest station to the festival site, and one of the easiest ways to arrive. London King's Cross to Bishop's Stortford takes around forty minutes by direct train. From Bristol or Manchester it is roughly three hours. A free festival shuttle bus runs between Bishop's Stortford station and the site for the duration of the event. Shuttle times are published in the run-up to each edition.
Less than an hour from central London via the A10 or the M11. We operate an on-site car parking scheme each edition. Please read the parking information sent with your ticket confirmation before you set off.
All four of the London-area airports sit roughly the same distance from the site. London City, London Heathrow, London Stansted and London Luton are each reachable by train connection to Bishop's Stortford. From Stansted the journey is short. From Heathrow it takes about an hour forty via King's Cross.
Our free shuttle bus runs between Bishop's Stortford station and the festival site throughout the gathering. Pickup points at both ends are clearly signposted, and timings are shared in the welcome email you receive when your ticket is confirmed.
Cycling is welcome. The final miles from Bishop's Stortford are a gentle ride through Hertfordshire lanes, and we have bike racks on site. Route details and suggested rides are published each edition ahead of the event.
Many of our attendees travel together. Our lift-sharing Facebook group is the easiest place to find someone travelling from your area. Check in, post your journey, offer or take a spare seat. Every shared car is one less car on the road.
