Dear Guest,

We are delighted to provide you with the updated guide for the Spa and Wellness Area at this year’s Vegan Camp Out. This information is designed to help you enjoy a safe, comfortable, and restorative experience.

Here is some updated information for our Spa and Wellness Area.

Reception:

This is the entry point for our Spa and Wellness Area! This is where you can buy 1hr Tickets alongside getting entry for your prepaid passes. Cards and cash are accepted but cash is preferred. High-quality towels and robes are going to be available for purchase at Reception when you enter and a Cloakroom is also available.

Cloakroom:

We have a staffed, ticketed Cloakroom for guests who prefer not to keep their belongings with them. Items such as jewellery, electronics, and personal belongings may be stored here. Our team will take care to look after your items, and a Cloakroom number will be written on your wristband to use for collection. Please note that Cloakroom use is optional and remains at the owner’s own risk. While staff are present at all times, we cannot accept responsibility for any loss, theft, or damage.

All items stored must be safe, legal, and in accordance with festival regulations. Dangerous goods, glass containers, and prohibited items will not be accepted. Wet items are also not accepted in the Cloakroom.

The Cloakroom is for same-day use only, and any items not collected by the end of the day will be transferred to the festival’s Lost and Found. Lost and Found items will be handled in line with the festival’s lost property policy.

Facilities:

We will have 2 two large gendered Changing Areas and one Family/Accessible Changing Area. Both our hotter and cooler Saunas and Hot Tubs will be alongside our Cold Plunge Pool to cool down. Ice Therapy and Salt Scrub will be available upon request to Spa and Wellness Area Staff. Guidelines for these facilities will be on display and available to read in the area.

Due to water supply limitations beyond our control, we regret to inform you that a Contrast Shower will not be available within the Spa and Wellness Area this year. A Rinsing Shower station with a limited water supply will be accessible for guests to use briefly before and after utilising the facilities. Full Shower amenities are available at designated locations elsewhere on the main festival site, and we kindly request all guests to utilise these facilities for more thorough cleansing.

Please remember to bring a water bottle to keep hydrated, there will be a drinking water tap in the area. A selection of hydrating refreshments including soft drinks, herbal teas, and infused water will be sold and available to keep you refreshed and relaxed.

Understanding your Passes:

For every guest entering the area your entry time will be noted on your wristband before you go into the Spa and Wellness Area. You will need to have signed the Health Declaration & Consent Form before you can enter.

For 1hr Session Passes: Should you choose to stay longer, additional time will be charged upon exit. However if it is peak time you will be limited to your 1hr slot. There will be a chime every 1hr to indicate that 1hr is up.

For Day Pass holders and Full Festival passes entry time will still be noted on your wristband however you can stay as long as you wish depending if it is peak time or not. During busy periods, you may be limited to 1-2 hours to ensure fair use of facilities.

The Health Declaration & Consent Form is in place to make sure you are aware of the important health & safety notice when going into the Spa and Wellness Area. These requirements exist to protect you and others from risks of heat-related illness, circulatory collapse, infection, and waterborne disease transmission. This form will need to be filled in for every person entering the area and will include an emergency contact number who we can reach in an emergency

Hygiene:

For hygiene reasons, sanitary pads and liners are not permitted in the Spa and Wellness Area, Sauna, or Hot Tub facilities. Guests who are menstruating may only enter if using tampons, menstrual cups, or appropriate period swimwear.

When in the Spa and Wellness Area Swimwear is mandatory. Underwear or daywear is not permitted. However if needed swimwear is available from local shops but it will be more environmentally friendly to bring your own. Guests must sit on a towel in the Sauna and rinse off between Sauna and Cold Plunge use.

Accessibility:

We are committed to providing an inclusive environment and will make reasonable adjustments wherever possible to support guests with access needs. Due to the nature of the site, certain limitations are outside of our control, and full accessibility cannot be guaranteed. We hope to make it much more accessible next year.

The Spa and Wellness Area includes an Accessible Warm Rinsing Shower and an Accessible/Family Changing Room. Our Massage Areas will try to make reasonable adjustments to accommodate individual requirements.

The Sauna and Hot Tubs are step-access only, with hand railings provided. Guests who are able to use the steps (up and down) either independently or with support will be able to use the Sauna and Hot Tubs.

If the festival has granted you carer access, your carer may accompany you into the Spa and Wellness Area as a free 1+.  Their entry will be linked to your pass but will still need to fill out a separate medical consent form. Carers must remain with the person they are supporting at all times.

If you have specific access needs and are unsure whether we can accommodate them, please contact us in advance so that we can discuss your requirements and do our best to support you.

Children in the Spa and Wellness Area:

Anyone under the age of 18 needs to fill out a Consent Form with their guardian/parental figure for access to the area before they enter, this will be done at Reception. Please ask a member of staff for this form.

Children under 16 require one-to-one supervision and are only allowed a maximum of 10 minutes in the Sauna or the Hot Tub per session. Children under 5 years of age must not use the Sauna, Hot Tub or Cold Plunge. When using the Sauna or Hot Tub the child goes with the adult and they sit on the lower benches in the Sauna while being respectful of other people in the Sauna.

The responsible adult must make sure that the child does not under any circumstances exceed this time limit. It is really important to understand that even when it is safe to take your child to the Sauna or Hot Tub, it’s not the same experience as it would be for an adult. If at any time your child feels overheated, dizzy or nauseated the responsible adult should immediately exit with them.

Medical Information:

Direct support from the festival’s medical team is available on site, and first aid provision is located within the Spa and Wellness Area. Guests use the facilities at their own risk and are responsible for informing staff of any relevant medical conditions prior to use.

You must consult your GP or healthcare provider before using the Spa and Wellness Area facilities if you have:

    • stimulants,

    • or any other medication where heat/cold exposure is inadvisable.

We are unable to grant access to the Spa and Wellness Area due to infection control protocols and the imperative to safeguard user health, particularly in the following circumstances:

  • Skin conditions such as psoriasis or eczema where skin integrity is compromised;
  • Infectious skin diseases, including impetigo, fungal infections, and scabies;
  • Presence of sores, wounds, or broken skin;
  • Any communicable illnesses, such as influenza, stomach bugs, diarrhoea, or vomiting within the past 48 hours.

These restrictions are implemented in accordance with public health and water hygiene standards to minimise the risk of cross-contamination and prevent the proliferation of pathogens in Spa and Wellness Area facilities.

Photography & Filming:

The use of cameras or recording devices is not permitted anywhere in the Spa and Wellness Area. To protect the privacy of all guests, each visitor will be issued with camera-lens security tape for their phone. This allows the phone to be carried and used for non-camera purposes without the risk of photos or videos being taken. In the individual massage tents, phones and all other electronic devices may not be used at all.

If you are dissatisfied with your pre-booked passes as a result of any changes, please contact us via email, and we will be happy to issue a full refund.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Spa and Wellness Area and providing you with a rejuvenating festival experience.

Warm regards,
